FAQ

What does Generic mean?

Generic drugs are produced and distributed without patent protection. A generic contains the same active ingredients as the brand pills and is identified by its chemical name rather than its brand name. Generics are considered bioequivalent to the brand name counterpart with respect to pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties. Therefore, generics are identical to brand pills in dose, strength, route of administration, safety, efficacy, and intended use.

Q: Why do the shape and/or color of the generic pill differ from the branded one? And why does the name printed on the pill differ from the branded one?
A: The contents of generic pills and brand name medicines are exactly the same. The only difference is the name. The name printed on the pill is the active ingredient used there. This is because the manufacturers of generic drugs cannot use brand names on their pharmaceuticals due to copyright.

Q: Why are generic drugs cheaper than the brand name ones?
A: Most new drugs, when they are first introduced are patent-protected by the government for 17 years. Other companies cannot sell that drug during that time. This allows the company that developed the drug to sell it exclusively and make back the research money that was spent to develop it. When the patent runs out, drug companies can apply to the Food and Drug Administration to sell generic versions of the drug. And because they don't need to worry about investment costs, the competing companies can sell their products at a much lower price.

Q: How do Soft drugs differ from Regular?
A: Soft drugs are dissolved under the tongue, and this makes the drug act faster than the regular one. Also because of that, you are allowed to take alcohol prior to the sexual intercourse. With regular tabs drinking alcohol is strongly not recommended and the drug acts slower.

Q:The amount charged on my card doesn't match my order amount, why is this?
A:This is quite possible and the reason why is because some of our banks do not charge in US dollars but rather in other currencies such as the Euro. Because the currency exchange rates fluctuate daily, the amount charged will not exactly equal what it shows on your invoice. In fact, in many cases it will show less as each day we undervalue the exchange rate to give you a slight discount before charging you. Of course, some banks also like to take their commission for these multi-currency transactions and if your bank is like this they may charge you extra fees as well. Unfortunately we can't do anything to avoid this but if for some reason your credit card shows that you were charged much more than the amount you paid please contact us and send in a copy of the statement (fax or email) and will we do our best to rectify the matter by applying an account credit. We will be unable to refund back to your credit card any fees charged by your bank.
